About Us
Our Story
The Three Lakes PF Initiatives were launched in 2017 by a family tragically affected by idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a form of pulmonary fibrosis with an unknown cause. Driven by their frustrations with misdiagnoses, lack of awareness and information, poor treatment options, and limited oxygen access, they established Three Lakes Foundation in 2020 to focus on accelerating new solutions to diagnose, treat, and cure PF.
Our Mission
To serve as a catalyst for uniting research, industries, and philanthropy in pulmonary fibrosis to improve time to diagnosis and accelerate new therapies.
Our Vision
A world where pulmonary fibrosis can be easily diagnosed and life-giving therapies are accessible, improving quality of life for both patients and families.
Energized by a Common Focus
While diverse in expertise and skills, we are unified in delivering upon our commitments to improving time to diagnosis, accelerating new therapies, and enhancing quality of life for those affected by PF. Our success will be measured by the difference we make in the lives of patients and their families.
Collaborating on a Shared Vision
We support and work closely with leading researchers, medical institutions, and like-minded corporate partners and organizations – all focused on increasing awareness and finding solutions for the PF community.
